They say some people are born into this world, but I was raised in others. My earliest memory isn’t a playground; it’s my mother’s voice narrating the sweeping histories of Middle-earth. By the 6th grade, that fascination turned tactile when I was given my great-grandfather’s manual typewriter.

For me, writing is a sensory experience. If there isn't a rhythmic "clack" and a custom-composed soundtrack or music playing in my ears, the flow-state remains elusive. An ADHD diagnosis as an adult now makes my boderline-obsessive collection of mechanical keyboards and different tech gizmos so much more understandable.

II live in the Pacific Northwest, though you won’t find me on a hiking trail. I’m the "indoor" variety of Northwesterner—usually found at a coffee shop with an Americano and a laptop, deep in the "why" of a world. I don't just write stories; I build cultures, origin myths, and the gritty backstories of dystopic futures. For me, the architecture of the world is the most fun.
